From inspiration to creation
My journey with bobbinsmoon began with a heartfelt desire to share my art and craft widely. The magic of lino art captivated me; each print, each card, feels special and personal, becoming a part of someone else's story. The herbal smoking blend emerged from a deeply personal need – a labour of love born when I sought an alternative to tobacco. It became a lifeline for me, and now I'm passionate about sharing this natural blend to support others on their own journey, perhaps even helping them quit tobacco too. Every item we create carries a piece of this personal story.
Our grounded creative process
There's a fundamental human need to create and to forage natural materials. For me, both acts profoundly connect me with my environment, grounding my very human drive. As a 'hedgewitch,' I find immense joy in growing many of the ingredients for my blends right here in my garden. With lino print, the process of carving and printing by hand is immensely satisfying. While laborious, the method transcends into muscle memory, repetition becoming ritual, worship, and meditation. This act of creation transmutes energy, allowing a cathartic practice, especially evident in my four-letter word series of cards.
